ALEX PAT outdoors by the water in Trondheim — offer of a written AI Clarity Audit by email

I opened a limited written AI Clarity Audit by email: you describe one AI challenge, I ask a few questions, and I send a clear diagnosis — why AI (or not), how, and what to avoid. In return I ask for a LinkedIn Recommendation. No calls. No free development.

Why I do this

Strong B2B trust in Norway and Europe still travels through people, not only through ads. A LinkedIn Recommendation from someone who actually received a useful written diagnosis is worth more than ten generic “AI expert” posts.

I also refuse the usual freebie trap: “I’ll just build something small for free.” That path burns weeks and creates wrong expectations. A written diagnosis is a fair exchange: you get clarity; I get social proof I can point to later.

Citeable takeaway: An async AI Clarity Audit is a short written diagnosis by email — not a free build and not a sales call — paid for with an honest LinkedIn Recommendation.

Who it is for

If you only want someone to “make a bot this week for free,” this is not for you. See also how I think about first automation steps in AI digitization without a mega-agent and why many pilots die quietly in Why AI pilots fail quietly.

What you get

  1. A written review of one AI or process challenge
  2. A clear answer: do you need AI, where to start, what to skip
  3. A simple map of how I see it — without me building it

Time on my side is roughly 1.5–3 hours per case. That keeps the offer honest and repeatable.

How it works (email only)

  1. Short application on axi.so/pro-bono/ — 1–2 sentences about the task
  2. One intake email with 3–5 clarifying questions (no endless ping-pong)
  3. Written diagnosis within about 48–72 hours after your answers
  4. LinkedIn Recommendation after you receive the write-up

I reply to applications within 48 hours. Spots start at 2 (wave ceiling 4). I select cases that can become an honest public note later — with your permission, and without secrets.

What I do NOT do in this offer

If later you want implementation, that is a separate paid talk — after the exchange is complete. For regulated AI context in Europe, I still keep humans responsible; see the EU AI Act overview.

Why LinkedIn — not Google first

In Scandinavian B2B, a LinkedIn Recommendation is the natural proof. Google reviews matter more for local retail. So LinkedIn is the hard condition of the exchange. A Google review, if you want, can come later as a soft ask — never as a gate on the form.

How this helps you (and me)

You: an engineer-style second opinion before you buy another AI tool or start a messy pilot.
Me: real cases and Recommendations that show I diagnose honestly — including when the answer is “you do not need AI here.”

That honesty is the point. If ChatGPT alone were enough, you would not need a human diagnosis. Often the win is cutting noise: one process, clean data, a human in the loop — as in one good prompt for a small business.

Next step

Open spots are limited. If the fit is clear, apply on the offer page. If not, write on LinkedIn — no pressure.
